York Mansion House is located in the heart of York, right off St Helen’s Square and just around the corner from Betty's Tea Room. We don’t have parking on site, but whether you’re arriving by car, train or foot, there are plenty of ways to reach us.

By Bike

There are plenty of bike racks throughout the city centre, though some main roads are pedestrianised during the day.

By Car

If travelling to the Mansion House by car there plenty of car parks throughout the city, regardless of the direction you’re coming from. Our nearest car park is Esplanade car park, which is 5 minutes’ walk away. You can also take advantage of the Park and ride that stop throughout the city.

By Bus

York is well connected with bus services running regularly through the city centre. Please visit iTravel York website to plan your route.

By Coach

If travelling by coach in a group, the nearest coach drop-off point is opposite the war memorial on Leeman Road. It is then a 5-minute walk over Lendal Bridge to the Mansion House.

By Train

The Mansion House is a 5-minute walk from York station, which is easily accessible from all UK regions. It takes less than two hours from London and Manchester Airport with trains running regularly throughout the day. To plan your journey visit National Rail.
